Dolomite

Dolomite is a frequent rock-forming mineral. Its make-up consists of calcium magnesium carbonate and has a chemical composition of CaMg(CO3)2. It is one of the primary components of sedimentary rock known as dolostone and the metamorphic rock also known as dolomitic marble. Limestone that contains part dolomite is known as dolomitic limestone.

Dolomite stone is one of the more preferred stones due to its fashionable look in aesthetic and durability with its crystal-free and solid structure; it plays a major role in prestigious projects. Due to the physical appearance of this stone, which is quarried from Marmara Island, resembles marble closely, it has a common use in many different projects and applications which brings an increasing demand, increasing sales competition and the price; although, this situation does not decrease the dolomite demand in the world.
