Limestone

Limestone is a common type of carbonate sedimentary rock and is the main source of the material lime. It is composed primarily of aragonite and mineral calcite, which are known to be different crystal forms of calcium carbonate (CaCO3). Limestone forms when these minerals precipitate out of water restraining dissolved calcium. This action can set place through both biological and non-biological processes.

Limestones particularly form close to sources of shelly debris therefore reefs are an excellent source for limestone creation.  Limestones formations are also found in fresh-water environments associated with lakes, springs, and caves.

Limestone is commonly used for furnishing of floors and walls in both residential and commercial projects. It constructs a spectacular looking home ambiance and adds a unique style statement to the structure. It has been in use by mankind since ancient and medieval times, as it was widely used as a building material to create beautiful buildings.
